Squirrel Gliders, Chocolate Lilies and hundreds of birds like the iconic Superb Parrot call our box gum grassy woodlands home. However in eastern Australia, these woodlands have been cleared for wheat and sheep production by as much as 99%. Now, in one of the largest projects of its type in the world, farmers are being funded by the federal government to conserve these critically endangered areas under the Environmental Stewardship Programme.
